“Come ve la passate in Puglia? La piantate?”.
“Se continua di questo passo noi la piantiamo comunque. Anzi, io le pianto comunque”.
Quando ci parli assieme ti accorgi che Andrea Trisciuoglio prova rabbia e indignazione. Ma discutendo del dramma chiamato ‘cannabis terapeutica italiana’, il suo tono resta pacato. Elargisce sorrisi, seppur le sue parole contengano amarezza. “Non stiamo parlando di ricreazione. Le persone in Italia muoiono e soffrono per colpa di una legge, di una mentalità, che a nessuno conviene cambiare”. Poi interrompe il dialogo e dice: “Scusa, comincio la terapia”, tira fuori dalla tasca un botticino bianco dal tappo giallo (Bedrocan), lo porge a un amico il quale estrae qualche fiore di cannabis e la cartina raggiunge peso 0.6-0.7 – ibrido di Jack Herer, l’unica 
importabile dall’Olanda.
Poi continua a parlare: “Le forze dell’ordine di Foggia, dove vivo, mi conoscono, sanno chi sono e da cosa sono affetto. Sto pensando a una coltivazione che coinvolga più persone bisognose di cure… Se non arrivano risposte continuo sulla mia strada, la disobbedienza civile per salvarci”.
La forza di Andrea non si concretizza solo nel combattere la Sclerosi multipla, che lo affligge, ma riguarda altresì un ottimismo trascendente la propria condizione fisica (e psichica). Lui mira all’abbattimento dei cliché per evitare che le persone si sentano come lui si sentì. Perché il Cbd e gli altri principi attivi contenuti nella cannabis alleviano i dolori e i sintomi della malattia, cioè permettono ai malati di vivere decentemente la propria quotidianità, rilassano i muscoli e la mente.
Il disappunto del nostro interlocutore ha raggiunto il culmine a gennaio scorso, quando il governo ha evitato di rispondere all’appello (ultimatum) dei malati pugliesi riuniti sotto l’associazione Lapiantiamo di Racale. Oltre alle numerose conferenze con esponenti politici (vedi foto in alto con Rita Bernardini, vedi foto in alto) Si era recato di persona in parlamento, ma dopo oltre due mesi tutto tace. Chiedeva ai ministri l’autorizzazione preventiva per la coltivazione di canapa medica: la locazione della serra era già pronta, i biologi (esperti) anche e la regione aveva dato l’ok . 
Nulla da Roma ad oggi s’è mosso, tranne l’ok al laboratorio militare di Firenze che nulla c’entra con la Puglia. E dire ‘militari coltivatori di cannabis’ è un ossimoro scontato. (. Un quadro desolante che tuttavia non ha scoraggiato i ragazzi membri del primo cannabis club italiano “L’associazione sta facendo molto, disobbedisce e promette di non fermarsi” conferma Andrea, poi aggiunge: ” Io purtroppo non posso aspettare altro tempo – nell’attesa potrei optare per l’autogestione che mi eviterà di spendere 35 euro al grammo per il Bedrocan“.
Una lotta che continua, continuerà ed è destinata a risolversi, dal momento che siamo di fronte a una questione di vita o di morte.

“We will plant it anyway. No, sorry, I will plant’em.”
When you speak with him, you realize that Andrea Trisciuoglio feels anger and indignation. But when he’s discussing about the drama called ‘Italian medical cannabis’, his tone of voice is quite. He lavishes smiles, though his words contain bitterness. “We’re not talking about recreational purpose. In Italy people are dying and suffering because of a law, ’cause of a mentality, that no one has interest to change.” Then he says, “Sorry, I have to start my therapy”, he pulls out a white capsule with yellow cap (Bedrocan), he hands it to a friend who brings some cannabis flower. “Put it more, this is a pity” he urges him, and the skin reaches 0.6-0.7 g – Hybrid of Jack Herer variety, the only be imported from Holland. 
Then he continues to speak: “The police in Foggia, where I live, they know me, they know who I am and what I’m suffering. There was then an agreement and I can plant my cannabis (with a promise: I haven’t to show off my freedom). I’m thinking of a crop that involve more people in need of care … I keep on my way, civil disobedience to save me. ”
The strength of Andrea takes place in fighting multiple sclerosis, which afflicts him, but it’s also relates to a optimism transcending his physical condition (and psychic). He aims the slaughter of cliché to prevent that people feel as he felt. Because the CBD and the other active ingredients in cannabis relieve pain and symptoms, allowing patients to live decently, relaxing the muscles and mind.
The disappointment of our interlocutor peaked in January, when the italian government declined to answer to the appeal (ultimatum) of the association Lapiantiamo, Racale. He went to the parliament, but no response. The members asked to the ministers a prior authorization for the cultivation of medical cannabis: the greenhouse was ready, biologists (experts) also and Puglia region was ok. Nothing has moved from Rome, except for the OK given to military laboratory in Florence; but Tuscany is not Puglia. And if you say ‘military cannabis growers’ people will laugh, and it is obvious that the military italians doctors are still on the high seas and they’re confused about what to do (look for yourself). In other words, military forces don’t know how to start a cannabis cultivation, and flush, breeder, coco, talea and all the technical terms are not familiar for them – they do not know anything. A bleak picture which did not deter the young members of the first italian cannabis club: “The association is working hard” Andrea confirms, then he adds, “From Racale they have promised to plant cannabis, disobeying. Unfortunately I can not wait any longer – in waiting I think of a self-management will avoid me to spend 35 euro per gram for Bedrocan”.
This is a struggle that will continue and that it will be resolved, since this time it is a matter of life or death.
